The Sudanese Dignity Party declares in the loudest voice its strong condemnation and denunciation of the El Fasher massacre and of the suspicious international silence that fuels the cycle of violence and grants perpetrators impunity.
The conscience of the world continues to stand as a spectator in silence, watching the ongoing violations by the Rapid Support militias (RSF), the mercenaries they have brought from various places around the world, and their supporters and funders, as they commit a series of horrific crimes against humanity in the city of El Fasher, adding to their black record of ethnic cleansing, massacres, and violations, which have led to the fall of thousands of martyrs and wounded among unarmed civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
The militia and their supporters have violated the sanctity of life, killing civilians in front of cameras and documentation in the largest crime against humanity in a dangerous precedent that reminds the world of historical tragedies that were thought never to be repeated. The emptying of the city of its inhabitants is a clear strategy to displace the original residents and create a new demographic reality, a matter reported by observers and warned against by humanitarian organizations.
El Fasher has been living under a suffocating siege for months, preventing the arrival of food and medicine, and turning life in the city into an unbearable hell for more than 500,000 civilians who were besieged and have now become, due to the savage action, either killed, wounded, or missing.
What the militia has done is not merely a geographical isolation, but a tool to deepen suffering and break the will of resilience.
What happened in El Fasher is not an internal Sudanese affair, but a decisive moral test for all humanity and for the policies of the international system. The international silence and the “faint” statements that do not rise to the level of decisive action from the Security Council and the United Nations constitute blatant complicity and reflect the absence of conscience.
The crimes of the Rapid Support militias have reached a level exceeding war crimes and crimes against humanity. The continuation of impunity fuels the cycle of violence and encourages criminals to proceed in their series of extermination. We affirm that international justice institutions need to reconsider the implications of what is happening on the level of regional security. We address the living conscience in the world: how can silence be accepted on massacres committed against a people who are slaughtered and displaced in full view and hearing of everyone? The moral responsibility requires you to stand with our people and pressure for their salvation.
We believe that safe and immediate corridors must be opened to save civilians in El Fasher, and to save the living before it is too late.
We demand the activation of international justice mechanisms and the referral of the file of violations by the Rapid Support militias to the International Criminal Court immediately, and to hold accountable everyone proven to be involved in these crimes, including international and regional leaders who provide support to these militias.
The international community is required to assume its responsibility and activate the “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) principle it has long boasted of, to protect Sudanese civilians from genocide.
We call on the Sudanese people to rally around the Armed Forces to achieve comprehensive victory and reclaim every inch defiled by the militia and their supporters and backers.
And Allah is behind the intention,
